How to distribute Suno AI music to Spotify in 2026

June 11, 2026

The short answer

You can't upload directly to Spotify — you need a distributor. DistributeMusic.ai is the first distributor built specifically for AI music (including Suno). Here's the full flow.

Step 1 — Export your Suno track

From Suno, download the highest-quality WAV (or MP3 if WAV isn't available). Spotify and Apple Music both accept 16-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV minimum; higher is better.

Step 2 — Create a release

  1. Sign up at distributemusic.ai (free tier covers one single per year)
  2. Click New Release
  3. Choose Single (one track) — or EP / Album if you have more
  4. Upload your Suno WAV and a 3000×3000 cover art (JPG or PNG)
  5. Step 3 — Fill in metadata

    • Artist name — your stage name as it should appear on Spotify
    • Track title — the exact title (this is what listeners search)
    • Genre — pick the closest match
    • Release date — must be at least 7 days in the future to be eligible for editorial playlists
    • ISRC — leave blank, we generate one for you
    • UPC — leave blank, we generate one
    • Explicit — toggle on if the lyrics warrant it

Step 4 — AI disclosure (mandatory)

Since May 2024, Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and Deezer all require AI-generated music to be tagged. Failing to disclose can get your release removed. On DistributeMusic.ai this is handled for you — we auto-tag any release created via our AI Studio, and the disclosure checkbox is required for manual uploads of AI tracks like Suno exports.

    Step 5 — Submit & wait

Our QC team reviews within 24h. Once approved, your DDEX-compliant package goes out to every selected platform. Spotify typically goes live within 2-4 days, Apple Music 1-2 days, TikTok 7 days.

Step 6 — Track your streams

Log into your dashboard to see real-time streams + revenue across every DSP. Withdraw earnings via PayPal, Stripe, or bank transfer once you hit $5.

    Common Suno-distribution mistakes to avoid

    1. Skipping the AI disclosure — gets you banned from playlists
    2. Low-bitrate exports — always grab the highest quality from Suno
    3. Copying lyrics from copyrighted songs — Suno is great but you're responsible for not infringing
    4. No cover art or a tiny one — Spotify rejects <3000px squares
