Every music distributor makes you fill out the same form for every release: title, artist name, genre, language, composer, AI tool, release date, cover art, audio. Ten fields, ten clicks, five minutes — every single time. If you release weekly, that's four hours of form-filling a year for the exact same 8 fields.
Distro AI kills that form.
It's a conversational AI agent that lives inside DistributeMusic.AI and remembers your defaults after your very first release. From release #2 onwards, you type or say a single line — "release a new song called Ocean Dreams" — and Distro reuses your saved artist name, genre, language, composer and AI tool, then asks for only what's missing (usually just the audio file). Total time from prompt to submitted-for-QC: under 15 seconds.
What Distro AI actually does
- Silent auto-learn. After every successful release, Distro quietly stores your metadata as your "default" — artist name, primary genre, song language, composer credit, whether the track is AI-generated, and which AI tool you used. No settings page, no checkbox. It just remembers.
- One-line submissions. On your next chat, Distro reads those defaults and auto-fills them. You only supply the title + audio. If anything's changed (new genre, different collaborator), just tell Distro — it overrides on the fly.
- Voice input. Tap the mic button and dictate — Distro transcribes via the browser's Web Speech API (free, instant) with an OpenAI Whisper fallback for browsers that don't support it. Great for producers who are mid-mix and don't want to switch keyboards.
- Everywhere on your dashboard. The Distro AI FAB (floating action button) sits on every artist page — Dashboard, Releases, Analytics, Settings. You never have to navigate to Support just to distribute.
- Auto-conversion. Uploaded a 96 kHz FLAC? A 4000×4000 PNG cover? Distro's backend silently converts every file to the DSP-standard 16-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV and 3000×3000 JPG — you don't need to know the specs.

Why this changes the math for AI artists
AI music is a volume game. Suno / Udio users generate 5-20 usable tracks per week. If each release takes 5 minutes of form-filling, that's an hour a week just on data entry — an hour you're not spending making the next track, promoting the last one, or pitching to playlists.

Setup: nothing to configure
Distro AI is on by default for every DistributeMusic.AI account. Your first release is submitted the normal way (through the wizard or through Distro AI itself). From release #2 onwards, the one-line flow kicks in automatically. No settings to toggle, no preferences page.
If you ever want to change a default (say, you start releasing under a second artist name on the Label plan), just tell Distro in chat and it overrides — silent auto-learn will pick up the new default after the next successful submission.
