Why 1-in-3 AI covers get rejected

1. 3000 × 3000 pixels minimum — hard rule. Both Spotify and Apple Music reject anything smaller.
2. Square only — no widescreen, no vertical.
3. JPG or PNG — no WebP, no HEIC. If your AI tool exports WebP, convert first (Distro AI does this silently for you).
4. No text unless spelled correctly — the safest move is zero text; let the DSP add title/artist metadata over your art.
5. ≤ 10 MB file size — some ingestion pipelines choke above that.

The prompt template that works

For Midjourney, DALL·E 3, Stable Diffusion XL or Nano Banana (our in-app Gemini image generator), use this structure:

Common mistakes
